![]() I figured Junko would love a Morton's Fork of despair like that, but I don't know if it would work even if she did make a show of a final trial since her words were that if they get it wrong they'll punish everyone besides the blackened, so in that case the killer actually COULD get out it by voting the wrong culprit. If they vote for themselves and get it right they'll still be executed. If the blackened votes for someone else it's wrong and they'll be executed. ![]() "Graduating" and finding out it was all for nothing, or being put into a no-win situation in trial. Would that be an automatic victory for the blackened, or would Monokuma invoke another class trial? I'm wondering what would be more despair inducing. What if the killings didn't stop? I'm curious what would happen when it came down to two people, and then one of them killed the other. The killings were calculated, and planned via this method. Basically, all the motives specifically targeted the people that it did. No one else had any specific reason for wanting a lot of money, outside of any typical frivolous desires any person would have (and in Byakuya's case, he had no need for money in the first place). And as for the money, only Celeste was desperate enough for the money to bring herself to kill for it, due to her big dream that she was desperate to achieve. The rest of the cast just seem to consider their secrets "embarrassing" as apposed to something that'll ruin their lives). Only Mondo and Chihiro's secrets were big enough for it to cause a murder to happen (don't forget that Makoto's 'secret' was about him wetting the bed. Whereas everyone else was just traumatised as you might expect, but not enough for it to drive them to kill. Regarding the first motive, Sayaka had a specific 'complex' regarding her group that the motive tapped into. That's supposed the game's logic on it anyhow. No one else had a reason to kill people over the motive that was given, so they don't.
